Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, log workouts, nutrition, or runs, or contact us for support. This includes: account details (name, email, password hash), fitness data (workouts, food logs, run routes, body weight), and device information for app functionality.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve Voltra, send technical notices, respond to your comments and questions, and to personalize your experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest. Access tokens expire after 15 minutes and refresh tokens after 30 days.

4. Third-party services

Voltra uses the following third-party services: Anthropic and OpenAI to read the food photos and voice notes you choose to log and to answer questions you ask the coach; Open Food Facts to look up barcodes you scan; Resend to send account emails; Sentry for crash reports; Expo's push service for notifications; Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In if you choose them; and the App Store and Google Play to deliver the app. Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data required for these services to function.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is removed from our database straight away; see Delete your account. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Every Voltra user can export their data in CSV format from the app, or request a full data export by contacting us. You may also delete your account at any time from the app settings.

7. Children's privacy

Voltra is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Voltra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact us
